Liability Corporation, has contracted on a 218,000 square foot
manufacturing facility on FM 830 in CorroTube will be servicing the Oil & Gas industry as a manufacturer of Corrosion Resistant Alloys in tubular form. They feel that there is a service component in the oilfield metals industry that is missing. “We plan to provide a level of service that other mills in the industry cannot or will not offer” says Ken Tooker, the company’s President and CEO. He goes on to say; “The levels of superior customer service in all industries has diminished. It is no different in oilfield metals manufacturing. The technology for exploration and drilling has increased by leaps and bounds over the past 40 years but, the technological advancements for the materials that support this activity have not kept the same pace. The customer has demands for specific products that is determined by the environment in which they are trying to produce. Most mills are not willing to commit the time and resources required to meet those demands. We will bridge the gap between the available materials technology and the requirements of advanced drilling technology. With a superior service mentality, our goal is to meet the time-frame supporting our customers’ schedules. CorroTube will be the first “Rapid Response tube mill in the world” CorroTube will produce corrosion resistant alloys for the oil country tubular goods (OCTG) market. Products spanning specialized off shore drilling and completions tools, hydraulic lines, as well as production riser systems will now be locally manufactured. These products will complement the range of mechanical tubes process for down hole well completions in sizes ranging from 2 7/8” to 13 3/8”.
